Announcements
Swimming Pool Opening-Rules & Regulations and Community Social Event-Pool Party!
May 22, 2026
We are delighted to announce the eagerly awaited opening of our community swimming pool on Saturday (May 23, 2026)! Prepare to dive into a summer filled with fun, relaxation, and sun-soaked memories.

Pool Hours: Daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Proximity Card Access Required: A Pool Pass (Proximity Card) is required to enter the pool area. DO NOT climb over or lift children over the gate or fencing; EVERYONE must enter the pool area through Pool Gate’s Access System (Proximity Card Reader). Residents who do not have their personal Pool Pass may be asked to leave. For safety and security, please do not open the gate for someone who does not have their personal Pool Pass. If you bypass the Pool Access System (Proximity Card Reader) or allow unauthorized access to the pool, it will result in a Due Process Hearing leading to potential fines and/or loss of pool privileges.

How to Obtain a Pool Pass: Each Condominium Unit has been issued one (1) Pool Pass; replacement Pool Passes are available for $30. If needed, please contact our Association Manager (John Candelora - jcandelora@thinkpma.com and info@thinkpma.com) to request a new Pool Pass.

Food & Beverages: During the 2025 pool season, there were some incidents where glass bottles were being used within the pool area. As a reminder, glass items (e.g., bottles, pitchers, etc.) are strictly prohibited for obvious safety reasons. Please be familiar with and adhere to ALL Pool Rules & Regulations (Posted within the pool area); this information is also available on the Cromwell Park at Salem Website (cromwellparkatsalem.org - FAQ’s > "What are the Pool Rules and Regulations?"). Violations of the Pool Rules & Regulations may result in a Due Process Hearing leading to potential fines and/or loss of pool privileges.

Important Reminders:
- No Pets Allowed: To ensure a safe and clean environment, please do not bring pets into the pool area. As required by both the City of Virginia Beach and the Association Rules & Regulations, pets are not permitted within the pool area at any time. The Virginia Beach Department of Public Health could close/shutdown our pool for the season if pets go in the pool area (especially if they enter the water). Also, no pets should be secured by leash to the outside of the pool area while visiting or using the pool.

- Umbrellas: To protect our facilities and minimize replacement costs to our Association/Community, always lower/close the umbrellas before leaving the pool area.

To celebrate the summer season, our Social Committee is sponsoring a Community Social Event - Pool Party from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday (May 30, 2026) [Rain Date: TBD]. Save the date and join us for a day of games, food, drinks, and great company. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet your neighbors and enjoy the summer sun. Bring your swimsuits, sunscreen, and a smile!

We look forward to celebrating the start of summer with you all. Enjoy the 2026 pool season and stay safe!

Should you have any questions please contact our Association Manager (John Candelora - jcandelora@thinkpma.com and info@thinkpma.com or call 757-646-6247).
